Again, Bama and LSU are the two best teams in my opinion. Just an uncompelling game to me. But I don't think it's a dick move by Saban. It's smart if you think about it. What they need to do is take away coaches votes who's teams in the top 5 or ten that week. Quote:

Coaches votes should not be counted. PERIOD. They have too much vested financial interest in the outcome plus who wants a coach that does not think his teams deserves a shot? See Mike Gundy the week before.........
All coached have performance based incentives in their contracts if they Make the BCSNCCG and more if they WIN the BCSNCCG so their votes should not count. As far as RGIII what is the old saying...." If you can back it up it ain't braggin" well he seems to back it up....... There are so many differences in each conference about offenses and defenses that it is all pure speculation on who, what , if and when because personally I think the Big 12 defenses are weak and the offensive number are inflated but of course everyone can have a bad game. When TT played OU I was amazed at how they scored. When OSU played OU it was even more amazing.....it was like OU just throwed the ball on the ground and told OSU "Here you go" The whole issue I see with this is we need a playoff for the top 4 and this issue would be resolved. I lok at teams like Houston, Hawaii from years ago and it seems that in confernce the ut up astronimcal number until they see a defense...just like Houston did this week and Hawaii did when they played Georgia. I think thes finess offenses are usually hurt when it comes to BCS games for the mere fact of the lay off between games....seems like they get out of rhythm. Alot of those offenses are based on timing and with the lay off that gets hurt, especially when alot of it has to do with a QB...If he has a bad game, a little slow, or whatever then the offenses suffer. Usually a power running game does not fail...look at Texas when they played USC...Vince Young killed them...mainly by running, Tebow killed whomever he played by running, and most teams with a running game do alot better in those type of games. I give no credence to a 3 loss team, just like last year Alabama lost 3 games....to me that team is not very good. When a team has mutiple losses like 3, then it was not just a fluke. We could have said South Carloina played way above their heads and Alabama had an off day.....but to lose 3 more times after that showed they had serious flaws, especially giving up a 24-7 half time lead against Auburn and losing 28-27.

I respect everything about the Alabama program. I think its one of the most historic college programs and you cant help but like to see them near the top. Bear bryant , gene stallings heck yeah well unless you are a Tennessee Fan you might not lolwith the way sports is heading I like to see old school still do well. The two teams are in stone now and thats how its going to be im hoping for a good game. Maybe Bama will come back and show america what they wanted to do the fisrt time around mistake free...... I dont dislike Alabama im just not a Saban Fan. I think its sad after 1 National Championship Bama puts a statue of the idiot on there Campus like he did something huge.... I mean come on he isnt the two coaches I mentioned up above. Dedicated to them as they were. I still enjoy watching the idiot squirm the first 5 minutes of the 09 championship Game when Colt was in the game. There he was squatting down on the sideline calling fake punts so early in the game and watching every play he called fold in his face. Looked like a dog that had been beat with a Newspaper Then the gift of the year was given to him and he stood up and looked normal the rest of the game.I gave/give my congras to the Bama team and there fans on that Game they were classy. F Saban everytime he speaks on Television I beleive him like I beleive a politician. IMO we should not have coaches picks. Thats nothing but confrences and buddies pulling for one another. Good luck to Bama and there Fans its been a hell of a year on and away from the field. May the best team win. Quote:
I agree 100% couldnt have said it any better. OU lost a lot of senior pride with injuries. there whole team started to Falter when they started losing players. If the same Team that showed up at the cotton bowl was still healthy and on the field today the crimson and cream would be in the NC Game. That team imo had a defense that hasnt been around since Mike left for Arizona. if you go back in time and take a 00 Mike stoops defense I would put it up against any SEC or any confrence offense I disliked that means defenses. |

Yes it will be. The 2 most historic programs of all time getting it on. It'll be tough on both of us being the first game of the year. No time for warmups, just straight into the fire. I'll be there to witness the greatness too. Just got my Sugar Bowl tickets delivered yesterday as well. Gonna be a great time in NOLA!

I think a team with the most all time wins, best winning percentage, 11 national championships, 42 conference championships, 77 All Americans, 3 Heisman winners, single game, season, and all time attendance records etc etc etc wouldn't have any problem having that honor.
