Not terrible...but if I was looking for a sporty car (

which I am, duh!) I would NOT look kindly on that. So plain. So...plain!!

......My Cobalt's interior looks better!!!!

btw, where'd you find those? Are there any more?

I'm a regular browser over on Lxforums, Like checking in on the dodge products.. even if they are overpriced. And those are pics from an 09 thats being tested (hence the 6 speed).

I think they were going for a clean look, but the result is something quite sterilized in the sense that all life has been eliminated from it. I don't care about interior all that much so if I were in the market for a Challenger it wouldn't stop me from buying one, but it is one more thing that the Camaro should have over the Challenger

atleast they kept the gun handle shifter. but other than that my mazda3 interior kills the chargers

Looks like 90% of the domestic vehicles out there today. I don't expect the Camaro to look that much different.

I love the in dash key setup

I'm sure it's partly because that's a bad picture and the plastic looks really grainy, but that is a horrible interior. If I were in the market for a Challenger, it may not be a deal breaker, but it would definitely cause me to think twice.

That looks about on par for Chrysler/Dodge, maybe a bit better than usual. It's not great, but not shockingly bad. Maybe my expectations are just low.

Looking closer...doesn't it seem like something you'd find in an Older Pickup? Work Truck trim level?

Pretty ordinary looking interior for a car that MSRPs at close to $40,000. I wonder how much they were able to shed weight on it though. Based on what I saw on Barrett-Jackson when it crossed the podium, the concept Challenger is a massive land yacht when you see it on TV. It dwarfs the '70 Challenger and alot of older cars from that era. Chrysler seems to be going backwards compared to other car companies when it comes to size and weight.

I'll give it the in dash key ignition. That is a plus in my book. Don't know why, but I've always liked the in dash ignition more. Maybe because it's more of a theft deterrant. It's a heck of a lot easier to break a steering column than an entire dash.

I agree that it does look pretty plain jane for a 40K vehicle. Seems like you're beginning to pay more for the name than anything else.
