I could try to make arrangements to get me too and from work on snow days, but in mn, i'd be spending enough to buy another camaro. I do have a truck that is my snow day transportation but repairs and maintenance on that have ben killing me... That's going in for a master cylinder on monday... After we get our 3" of snow later today.

Drove a Charger R/T all winter last year. Not bad. Kind of fun whippin it sideways. Kind of scared about these P Zeroes though. Keep hearing bad stuff about them in the snow. Just bought the car. Don't want to shell out the cash for snow tires. Luckily my Grandma whom doesn't drive anymore still has her car. I'll probably just end up driving hers when snow is on the ground before they plow.

Living in Alaska......
Man I wish I could drive my car year round, but living in Alaska prohibits that. This is my last winter here, so I only have to sit through this one. I talked to the tire places here in town and they all laughed when I asked about snow tires. So I bought a beater with a heater to drive. I try to stay out of the garage, but it doesn't always work. The other day I got in and started it up and pulled out to the driveway and couldn't get it back in. I had to go get traction sand.....haha..

Houston here. What is all that white stuff on your cars?
Just kidding. I drive my Camaro year round, and if I still lived in the North I would drive it in the snow.

I got caught by the Oct snowstorm in northern NJ while at work, we got about 5 inches and my 2011 RS/V6 was parked in the underground parking lot. I had to backup and race up the snow covered ramp to get out but the car handled surprisingly well during the snowy commute home on Route 80. I'm glad this happened while I was still deciding which snow tires and rims to purchase for the season. I don't plan to be on the roads in major snowy weather so no snow tires for me... If the car survived that it will be okay!

I'll find out for myself soon enough how PZero's work in a light snow in Louisville.

I have a 4x4 pickup for my winter beater so the Camaro stays parked. I don't even take it out on nice days. My reasoning is that the poor paint can't take the sand/saltblasting of hiway driving during the winter season. They sand and salt (150,000 tons expected to be laid down this winter) the roads here and it's murder on the paint.
The one time last spring I did drive home in a freak blizzard it handled extremely well in up to six inches of wet, sloppy snow. If you can afford a set of winter tires and wheels for the Camaro you might as well go buy a beater with a heater to take the winter abuse. |

My DD is in the shop, so I had to take Ladybug to work yesterday. No snow here, but when I drove home, it was only 26 degrees out, and slightly foggy. I did NOT want to find out where the black ice was! The FRONT end got squirrely on me when I went over a slick manhole cover. Needless to say, I swerved around the manhole covers the rest of the way home!! If the SUV dies completely, then I'll get winter rims and tires for the Camaro, but for now, unless I have no other option - like yesterday - she's in the garage when it's this cold...

To each their own. I will never have my car in the snow. It is a garage queen during the winter and only drive it to shows during the summer. It hasn't seen rain yet (lucky) because there have been storms brewing while leaving car shows. People enjoy these cars in many different ways. This is my way.
