Yeah, I always wanted a 97 SS. I loved the white with orange stripes. When I see one for sale, they are going for alot of $. I would just build the LT1, if that's the route you're going to take.

Ours is this girl who is much younger than me, no college education, she has horrible credit (debt collectors are always calling), she treats customers and other people badly and we have been in the department the same amount of time. She has just clawed her way and pushed everyone under the bus to get where she is. Had someone call upset and they wanted to talk to a supervisor and I calmed her down and fixed her problem and then i mentioned the call outloud and she was all oh you need to transfer them to me if they ask and i didnt say anything. i refuse to accept her as a supervisor. I hate her.

I could get the LT4 hot cam, heads, intake and throttle body etc through work...... at cost, that sounds like a winner to me

. I found a 97Z here, needs paint.... I've thought about getting it and painting it Cayenne Red Metallic to match my 97 or that medium metallic blue (or whatever its called). They only made about 800 of that color in 97, and I saw a SS in that color for sale once..... it had been wrecked though and drove like crap. :(

97SS A4.. holy balls. SLP's club president (SLPDave here) has had his since new and that is one hot ass car.

Hard top too. Just like the Sport Gold '98 SS and '95 Comp T/A he's got stashed away. Avoids T-Tops like the plague.
