MIS is killer. I thought you had probably experienced NASCAR in person...

Loudon is nice. Nice people and track. I lived in Vermont for 8 years.

First experience - just got chills - was a great bus tour to Pocono. Wow.

We went to practice on a Friday, and when I heard the sound of a cup car coming, as I walked in from the parking lot, I literally cried.

I sat in the stands - only a few people around- stunned.

Then he flew by at 150 plus mph, and...still stunned. Never forget it!

I hope you make it to Loudon.
they fired up one of Mark Martins cars that was on display when we were in Michigan. It caused a bunch of people to jump. The first time we went we had front row seats, between turn 4 and the start/finish. They were initially designated as wheelchair accessible seats but were opened up for general public within a few weeks of the race since they hadn't sold. We felt the wind off the cars with every pass and our shirts had tons of rubber specs from the tires. The sound of the lead pack of cars passing was insane.

Granted they were just about to close for the evening, but he told me no and to come back some other time.

My guess is that he thought I was just a 16 year old kid who wanted to test drive a 50 thousand dollar car. I don't blame him for thinking I'm young because I do look 16, but he could at least check the attitude. Doesn't matter, I have sat in them before and there was no way I was gonna buy one from them so I didn't care. On with life I say.

Pushover? Man, are people dumb or what...

They are in dire straits, and still cocky.

Things are worse now, but a year ago, I went to test drive a G8 GT when they first arrived, and this ahole looked at me like I wanted all his money or something.

I'm 47, I called him out, he says, it's new, blah, blah, blah.

I said - you can keep em!! And left as he tagged along behind me apologizing...

Now the G8 plant is all but closed, and they can't sell them for any amount.

We'll find you a better dealer...

I'm so glad to be part of this forum.

People in other forums are soooooo misinformed.

I don't even bother to help them because they don't help themselves.

can anyone tell me who makes the factory exhaust for the Camaro?

It really okay. I'm still gathering the down payment. And I really didn't like them before mainly because of previous experience with them. at least their used side of things. I really don't have too many other choices other than Penske chevrolet in Indy. I'm gonna start doing some investigating on some of the corvette forums that you gave me and maybe the DC forum. I wanna find a good dealer. I plan on some mods after some time of owning it, so I will definitely be doing my homework when I'm ready to buy.

I'm glad things got better for you, with your job.

It reminds me that things will pick up.

Which is a good reason why I don't have kids yet. I have a lot of guys tell me that their kids will be out of the house while they are still in their fourties. I'm like, okay cool for you man. That's just not for me. While they are watching their kids, I'm out partyin and having a good time. Going on trips on a whim, and spending money on stupid stuff like cars! And living the better part of my life while I still can. All the while they are at home putting their kids to bed... I feel bad about partying without one of my best friends, but he chose this. IDK, I'll have kids someday, but I'm in no hurry.

Yeah, I agree. I love the fact that I look young. Especially now that I have a job. It was a major drawback for me looking for a job, but now I can relish in the feeling that I look 16 now that when I'm 40 I will look 25.

I'm outta here guys, going to bed.
