I have relatives down there, along with a lot of friends. There are a lot of communities still without power. I'm sure everything is fine and it just might take a few more days to get everything back to normal.

wow! marcgo2 just showed me this thread.
thank you so much to all y'all who're checking on me. it really means a lot to have so many people across the country making sure we're alright... especially when i've never even met any of y'all. actually, for those who don't know, there were quite a few funnels that hit that afternoon. a few were within a couple miles of my house. let's see... one hit broad street, one in walter hill, one in christiana, one on thompson ln, one in lascassas, one on bradyville pk... there were some out towards lebanon & smithville as well (we have a couple members from those areas too)... i just praise God that more people weren't hurt. the lady & her baby who were killed lived about a block from my friend, and he was showing me pictures from their neighborhood. unbelievable! it's pretty rough in places, but most of town is untouched. once again, thank you so much from me & my family for your prayers & support for everyone here. i live by campus, and i don't have a real name... actually most people call me zebra this was filmed from our chevy dealer Quote:
![]() the kicker about this whole situation is that the reason i ain't been on lately is because i've been working for my church getting ready for Easter! with over 6000 members (taking 4 services each weekend to get everybody in) we go to the MTSU basketball arena for Easter services. it's a huge deal & i'm on the multimedia team, so i help get it all set up & running. here's a pic from a couple years ago to give you an idea that center truss is 36' in the air for a size reference that's been the biggest time-sucker lately (45 hrs just from thurs-sun) i was actually in the underground tunnels when the storm hit. it didn't really help knowing that with the way the building was built, if the walls went, the roof went with them! everything was fine though, and all my friends & family are safe.

Glad you like the pics - we continue to laugh together.
![]() You're a busy guy... Glad you're involved in positive things like your church. Also, do you have a weather alert radio? It only alerts for the counties you choose, and you set what type of alerts to receive. I like mine, you know when it's coming, even if you're sleeping, it will wake you up. ![]() $44.99 total - http://www.amazon.com/Midland-WR-300...9757999&sr=8-1
