1985 GMC BRIGADIER!

So I found two of these old trucks that wre being used as oil tankers and I bought them both for $1800.

Both have Detroit Diesel 6v92's with Fuller Eaton 9 speeds.

The Silver 92's are rated at 335 hp and 950 ft. lb. of torque, but they have been upgraded with larger injectors and governors raised... so probably punching about 350-370 horse and 1000 ft. lb. They are two stroke diesel v6's displacing 552 cubic inches or about 9 liters with a turbo and a blower.

I picked one to restore that I will take with me to truck shows to be my support vehicle for my 1987 Kenworth K1E "Motormaster" show truck and so far this is what I have done...

New paint called Tropical Blue
New hadley air horns
New L.E.D. roof markers
New L.E.D. turns and markers
New 20" chrome "Texas" style bumper with 15 2" L.E.D.s
Removed muffler and replaced it with all new 6" strait pipes "Bull Hauler Stacks"
Added new L.E.D. bumper guides
Two new leather air ride seats
Rhino lined the interior for easy cleanup
Added a 15' X 8' stakebody with hydraulic liftgate
Removed "High Visibility" hood in favor of as I call "Low Visibility But More Awesome" hood.

Still gotta-
Get some more interior parts
MAKE HVAC WORK
Add stereo
Paint frame and bed

GMC Brigs are getting HARD to get parts and stuff for so if any of you know of any of these old bad boys laying around let me know if you dont mind... it will make my life much easier!

Pics of some before and after-
