2011-2012 base Corvette review?? can anyone find one?

I am thinking about trading my 2011 SGM 1SS for a 2012 base 1LT or 2LT Vette. With my dads GM discount I should be able to get one in the low $40k range. So I turn to the trusty internet to find some nice video reviews on a Base C6 and.......NOTHING... so I try to find so written reviews and......NADA..... plenty of ZR1 and some Z06 ones but man I am not made of money... anyone know of any base C6 reviews??

Base Corvette hasn't changed much since 2008, so there's not likely to be any reviews for the '11 or '12 MY.

This year gets you new seats (They are a great improvement on the old ones!)

I was hoping on a Edmunds, Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Consumer Reports etc... type of review...:(
I heard they received new seats, and as usual my salesperson was clueless about it when I mentioned that to him.

Go test drive one....then you have your own review, the only one that really matters.

most dealers around here have their vettes in their showroom and dont want to hassle with moving them out. Or they say sh!t like "we want to keep the miles down on them" or my favorite line "most corvette buyers dont need to test drive them, they know all about them anyways" god I hate stealerships..

lol when I bought my V they said "People who buy this car don't want people test driving it". 65,000 100 dollar bills in a big bag, I've never seen a car go from the showroom to outside so fast.

Cash talks and BS walks so if you can go in with some cash ontop of your trade in, i'm sure they'd move it out.

the car magazine's never test a base Corvette, or an automatic. Heck, they don't even test automatic Camaro's.

65,000 100 dollar bills? was the V a one off constructed in titanium reinforced carbon fiber?

i would probably feel like a king for the day if i got to walk to the dealership with 650, 100 dollar bills. the whole driving home with a V is a huge plus too.

Yes they do. I distinctly remember a yellow LT Corvette with the Z51 suspension package being reviewed by someone in 2008 when the LS3 debuted....If I had a little more time, I'd find it for the OP.

yeah yeah i have that article--but there again it's got the Z51 suspension. i meant they never test base suspension Corvette's. Only time i can remember one is when MT reviewed the C6 convertible about 5 years ago.
