They easily could. But they would have about a 5% chance of beating Bama or LSU.

If you look at the 8 teams ahead of them in the coaches poll, 4 of them are gauranteed to lose no matter what. (Of course assuming OU would beat OSU)

Clemson still has Ga Tech adn South Carolina on the road.

Stanford and Oregon both still has USC. So the winner of the Stanford vss Oregon game could lose to USC.

And Bosie St. could be jumped by a one loss major conference team.

It's not a stretch. It coudl easily happen.

Oh I agree they could, but I also thought they would handle Tech easily. Like I said, that's why they play the games and you better bring it EVERY game.

They will lose again. Of that I am pretty sure. But if they don't, they may get back in the title game race.

My best guess at this point is LSU vs Stanford.

IMO, we've got 3 games that are going to be scarey...
1. K-state...next
2. TxAM...after that
3. OSU...Dec 3..[could be another "ice bowl"...yuck!]
~Baylor could be iffy...Nov 19
And surely we can put IOWST in the win column[please, Dear Lord!]
It appears we have 2 weeks off between AM and Baylor.
They d@mn well better make good use of those 2 weeks...LOL!

October 22nd was "any given day" and TTech was "any given team" and yesterday was their day.
Did we lose focus by worrying about the NEXT game and not paying attention to the task at hand? Was the defense to over-confident and got what they deserved? Did offense have some bad plays, or play calling by Heupel?
Is the Pope Catholic....does a bear $hit in the woods? LOL. Yeah...that's what I'm thinkin'; NOT a Josh Heupel fan and Brent Venables is fastly becoming about as popular as the plague.
Trust me, ALL of Sooner Nation is Pi$$ed beyond words. BUT...it is what it is. And again I will say, some folks get off on seeing OU fail,[you know who you are].
What goes around, comes around, and I hear bad juju sucks the BIG one!

And yeah, I'm stickin' by my Sooners!

Man Im astonished what happened lastnight up in Norman. However I will say PQ has said it all along that there was something about the sooners he did not like.
All Teams have games like this it just sucks when it happens at home when you are used to winning there week after week yearly.

So many said even against Texas the sooners were leaving 1 or 2 big plays on the field I guess sometimes you just gotta watch closer.

The season isnt over PQ im not happy with you right now. You better be joking about season is over.
How many times have the Spooners lost to Texas and still held on with a loss and won the big12 and played for a NC Game ????????

As long as the BCS is around its not over. Now its time to play Stoops Ball meaning Win and run the scores up BIG

I know this sounds bad of me even though im pulling for my horns to win out and always will im going to be watching and hoping Okie Lite keeps winning.

I know the sooner fans dont want to lose eitiher to okie lite but right now im all for a Big12 team winning. Well everyone but A&M

Damn Jekyll, I know I haven't been around for a few days but DAMN, THAT AIN"T COOL!

I was around for the Dennis Franciphony beatdown courtesy of Bob Stoops. Let'snot talk about that drubbing, ok? Although I don't think this team will get abused like that Franciphony team did, I do see Landry jones having a career day against the anemic Aggie secondary. He might as well because 3 other QBs this year have set school records against them.

I already called the A&M game in Norman a loss at the beginning of the season so I'm hoping the Sooners take their frustrations out on K-State although Bill Snyder has those boys doing some things that NO ONE saw coming.

While we're here, can someone tell me why Nebraska is ranked higher than Wisconsin in todays BCS standings? THIS is proof the BCS sucks.

Had big lead let wisconon tie game.
What I saw was a usually well coached and fundamentally sound Wisconsin team get more yards, more yards per play, more first downs, and more sacks than MSU but somehow MSU get called for 0 penalties, get a safety on an intentional grounding call, a blocked FG, a blocked punt for a TD, and win on a last second hail mary. It was a perfect storm of luck and BS to pull that off. I suspect they'll meet up again in the Big10 Championship Game and their luck will run out then.

Exclamation Update...

Okay, I have to chime in again here it seems...

Stanford will never see a BCS NC game...PERIOD.

As for Clemson v. GA Tech...I take Clemson...GA Tech has fallin' apart so far this season...not to say they are not a decent team, but I don't see them beating Clemson atm.

Sorry to the OU fans...but I hope Kansas State wins and continues to win so at least we can see a match up with the SEC winner for the BCS NC game. It would be nice to see Alabama and Kansas State or Clemson play it. I'm will admit I'm partial to Alabama only because I would like to brag that my team played a contender for the BCS NC.

Back to Kansas State...they have the hardest remaining schedule in the conference they are in compared to OU, Texas A&M, & OSU who are all still ranked in the top 25 for now!

As for me and mine...we will stick by our alma mater till the bitter end...and just hope that Bama doesn't put too bad a beating on us before the FCS playoffs.

And to all...just remember its just a GAME and there is always next year!

We fired our F*CK^P in the first season when he ruined most of our school records, tried to change us into a passing team from the running-opt., and lost to Citadel. My step-dad was like they have a contract with him they won't just fire him...and after he lost to Citadel I told him he was TOAST and the day after he was HISTORY! So word to the wise...he may be a good coach for OU but there is always someone better. If you all are mad and complaining about the last 10 years I would say its long over due for your program to have a new coach. It won't make me a sooner fan but at least I will have more respect for the fans who demand a better for their team and clean house.

Well, I always said I'm NFL first. The reason is that the season isn't over because of one or two losses. In college football this season is already over for 95% of the teams.

That is if the ultimate goal is to win it all.

OU can't play defense. I'll root for them to win of course and if the cards fall right it's still possible to go to the big game, but if they can't go to the NC game then it's over as far as I'm concerned. What's to root for once that's over. You gotta remember, I'm not an alum. Just a fan since boyhood. Winning the conference doesn't mean much to me.

That's not a bad arguement:

K State:
OU @ Home
@ OSU
TAMU @Home
@ UT
ISU @ Home

KSU....They need to get throught the next 2 weeks before they start talking.

OU:
@ KSU
TAMU @ Home
Baylor @ Home
ISU @ Home

OU coming off a loss at home.....I feel bad for KSU...and probably my Aggies the next week in Norman.

OSU:
KSU @ Home
@ TTU
@ ISU
OU @ Home

KSU, TTU, & OU are the questions here....is OSU for real?
