Did mine earlier for my 3GS (using it till it dies)...I thought it was gonna kill my 3GS. So far, it runs smooth and loving the updates.

I'm on a 3GS too. Seems to work pretty good. I like the new notification center, but I haven't gotten the hang of iMessage yet.

I haven't messed with iMessage yet. I'm dying to get home already from work so I can jailbreak it and install BiteSMS.
