angelically: funny looking pope/cardinal hats.

Hoping that I wasn't coming to mind with your new word choice. For I don't think of myself as being distasteful, annoying, unpleasant, or not quite repulsive.

New word: "indignant"!

It means to be annoyed in a rather anal fashion.

New word: "somnolent". By the way, I think we are pickin' words that are too common. Would you care to up the ante, so to speak?

Do you speak French, Spanish, Latin (yeah, I know it is only read), or Italian?

I'm game to give words in those idioms a try...

Perhaps we are picking easy words ... but of course a game without humor (or fun) is far too much like work. And since we both happened to be online and playing, we rather flooded the page with responses.

As for your proposal of shifting to other idioms, I would be willing o give a shot, but I hafta say that my knowledge of languages is fairly limited ... English, Bad English, Southern, and a very, very limited amount of French (from high school 25 years ago?). And by limited, I hafta admit that I used the skill once to attempt to help a tourist family understand that the box they were purchasing wasn't just a roll of film, but was a disposable camera ... and that their daughter had wandered off around the corner of the gift shop.

As the game initiator, I would have to say that a change in the rules is within your power to make.

As for myself, I plan to fix my somnolent state ... I am off to bed ... and in the morning perhaps I will have thoughts related to...

I understand, let's leave the rules as they are currently and choose more difficult terms.

It looks to me like you hit the mainline with your current choice. I gotta' ask, is it a slang construction? It appears to be so at first glance.

The last three syllables are obviously borrowed from the word "spectacular", so there's that meaning somewhere in it. If it were "gen" rather than "jen" I would surmise it has to do with "people" from the Latin word "gens" meaning just that. But it ain't. It's "jen".

Is it perhaps a reference to a "celebrity" named Jennifer? If so, I'm out in the cold. I don't watch TV, nor am I in any way current with the commercial media.

I've heard this word before, but I just can't place it. Ivas you're on to something with "spectacular" as that is ringing a bell for me. I just can't remember the rest of the word.

It just is an obscure word ... Ivas mentioned that things had gotten too easy lately.

Jentacular means "pertaining to breakfast".

Reset word: "lethargy"
