Well I got curious because I made a joke in another thread about a Supra being rice. Some would say it is even though it's got a ton of horsepower with a turbo set-up.

So I was getting opinions on what actually most people considered rice.

But there are so many examples. I doubt if it would clear anything up. There is the perfomance (ie.... hp, tq, timeslip) part of it that can't get picked up in pics.

But (Todays) use of the word Riced or Rice has nothing to do with HP, or performance, its all about Unnecessary Visual enhancements, etc.

Havent you learned anything JK

A Supra is not rice, even if it has a bodykit and a big wing. Its got the numbers to back it up most of the time.

The fast car remark was in response to someones saying something about 14 second car owners not knowing .. and nort being one fo them I had to point that out
I have to agree with CC, being born and raised in Detroit in the late 60's early 70's it was "rice" or "ricer". The term was in reference to the onslaught of Japanese imports coming in. The most common imports were Honda Civics, Datsun pickups and "Z" ...

For me it still referees to Japanese imports ... Guess I'm still old school.
