R.I.C.E. Racing Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement Rice ![]() Not rice ![]() A clean tasteful car isn't rice imo, at least that's the way I view it. It doesn't bother me when people call my car rice though because it's typically coming out of the mouth of someone with a 14 second stock car that they couldn't change the spark plugs on. The biggest shit talkers are typically the least knowledgeable. |

The Term "Ricer" is used because Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Toyota, etc.. is from asia. and we asian people like to eat rice. thats why they call it ricer cars because its an asian car.
Its actually kinda racist. |

It started with Asian cars, but it evolved to a style that can be used on any car, regardless of the country of origin.

To me, tasteless non-functional 'race inspired' mods on economy cars has always been rice. For example, a stock Supra is not rice. A Civic with a stock powertrain, body kit, fart can, and huge spoiler is.

My car makes 650 rwhp naturally aspirated, care to guess on the 1/4 time? the reason you dont consider it rice is because you own it but its rice none the less.. it was a deragatory term back in the day, at least thats how it was used and to a good extent is used today... Its foreign vs domestic and will always be that way..... |

You got it !...LOL Two different meanings depending on how its spelled Sorry charlie the Evo is 100% rice even though it is not riced out.. good looking car to some and tastefully done yes.. but it eats rice none the less.. I think some of you kids just dont realize its (rice) a term referring to the country of origin.. ricer is a term referring to the way a car looks |

Just so you all know, I have friends that are "tuners" the nicer term and we go on drives together.. All of them and myself included appreaciate power and respect each others tastes... Kind of funny when you see a Camaro and Evo and SRT4 club going to the beach for an icecream but its who we are.. I respect their cars even though I would not be caught dead in one and they all love the Camaro.. ricers and domestics can get along, its individual respect thats all.

a ricer is someone who owns a car that's riced out. If the term just means Japanese than it's useless for descriptive purposes. How would you describe these cars? ![]() ![]() So these are ricey cars owned by ricers, but they're not rice? Riiiiight. That makes perfect sense. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Ricer Most people seem to agree. |

Rice or Ricer to me is the same thing, but you can only call rice or ricer to a car with the characteristics discussed on page 1. But "Import" would be the proper way to call any asian car that is not riced or ricer.

Rice is an old old term.. and was deragatory remark to call out a japaneese car .. then the asian car mfg market expanded and the term was used to call out any asian car.. ricer is a person and riced out is what you posted pictures of... Whether you appreciate the style or think its a waste of money deosnt matter, I am correct.... Rice ricer and riced out... but the original term rice simply meant a japaneese car.. But answer your question I would call those cars hideous and stupid.. only one looks like a ricer the other is I dont know what but my guess is it was in Miami |
