Edit: Oh, and can someone please explain to me why Okie fans love this guy so much:

I mean, he didn't even go to OU...he went to Maryland...

The Red River Shootout should be a good one. Obviously OU looks stronger than UT right now, but you can usually throw records out for this game because they'll both come to play.

Michigan moved all the way up to #12, #11 in the coach's poll. I don't like it. I don't think we should be ranked that high and I don't want the kids to get wrapped up in the ranking BS. I think Hoke is a good enough coach to keep their heads on straight though. I LOVE what he's doing with the offense. Should be a great year. Go Blue!

Think OU takes this one this year........but one big hit and things can change quickly. Texas has done alot better since Gilbert got benched and then had surgery and I don't think he will ever play again with Ash and McCoy now playing, plus Texas does seem to have a running game....OU's was a little hurt by their back getting hurt.

The problem I see for Texas this week in the young QB's playing against a skilled defense, especially if they mix things up.

Everyone is high on Bama right now but I am still not confident even though we smoked Florida. We have a pretty good defense but for some reason I think a highly efficient passing team can do some damage. AND that team is OU but you never know what happens when someone gets hit in the mouth.

LSU is strong as well but their offensive production is average at best to me. They will kill Florida this weekend, it won't even be close at all.

Wisc- played a very one sided Nebraska team. Martinez in no passing QB. But they seem to be the class of the Big 10.

Auburn-Ark-- we will see if Auburn still has that last second fight in them, for some reason I do not think this will even be close as Ark runs way away from Auburn.

Clemson is doing extremely well. OSU is still putting together wins.

As long as no one slips OU-OSU and Alabama/LSU should decide the BCS game this year. But as they always say " That is why you play the games........"

Yeah imo OU will have its ups and downs thats growing pains to a season.
Even though Ut looks Good in the previous two weeks people have seen them on Tv there is a lot of jelling that needs to happen. In the next two weeks We have OU and Oklahoma St as everyone know OU is our BIG Rival Oklahoma St has probably been the most consistant team who plays us either right down to the wire or ( last year blew us out )
Having a Running Game has done a lot for this Team. Probably the best thing imo since Jamal charles and Cedric benson left.
I'm really not expecting a Win over OU this week if we can just show up and play respectful I will be happy ( of course I will be happy if we win ) however whatever the out come is I know we have pleanty more on our schedule who Hate us and want to Kill us lol

Bama you know im not sold on flordia thats not saying im taking anything away from them over there win. Congrats. I think as the season goes on and the opponents stack up and we see how they handle health/injuries they are one you never want to count out.

LSU imo is the team who I think will be in the Championship with OU this year.
Offenses are winning these games with high scores but imo this year we are going to see a defensive battle.

Wisconsin should pull away with there expierence towards the end of the season however I do see the big10 having a much brighter looking future now that NCAA hog tied OSU. BTW after a season that OSU is having EXPECT HUGE changes this offseason they will be back. QUOTE ME.

auburn/Arky Arkansas has a QB who is saying Mallet who ? kid has a arm and good size if they continue to block for him they will have a Great weekend. auburn imo hangs in there but they are teaching new kids and getting better with growing pains.

" As long as no one slips OU-OSU and Alabama/LSU should decide the BCS game this year. "

OU-OSU ultimate slug fest this year even if one of the teams has a loss. This will be a Air Show for sure however imo Landry is the best thing to OU's team in a long time. Not taking anything from Sam Bradford his chance was cut short by injury so we will never know but as of right now if health stays as it is and the line blocks for him OU has a Awsome Receiving corp and a QB who can deliver. Keep an Eye out for Keinny ( however you spell it ) A Wr that lurks in the dark.

Anyone who plays OU is going to have to get physical , hit them in the mouth and before they can open there eyes hit them again.

The only advantagr Alabama will have over LSU is home field and that is pretty big and tough on offenses especially if they can limit their production, make the QB shuffle his feet a little and hit him, even if they don't sack him the hits take a toll on QB's and makes them starting looking for the hit instead of the receiver.

A Lot of teams went through this spread era and it was fashionable but now that teams have more athletic defenses they have kinda figured out the spread....probably the reason Urban Myer is in a booth now instead of on the field. Physical football wins out more than finess.

Texas did extremely well getting good running backs. Even if a QB is having an off day, power football will usually prevail 5 yds at a time. It ain't flashy but it wins in the end.

Alabama's ability to run the football against Florida 4, 5, 6, and 7 yds at a time in the first half led to the dominance in the second have. Florida's defense was just wore out. I saw that in the SEC Championship in 09 against Florida. When you drive the ball 92 yds down the field 5 yds at a time it kills their spirit and the reason Alabama had two longer runs in the 4th qtr.

Everyone talks about a playoff...we have one..OU Vs OSU/Texas and Alabama Vs Fl and LSU and vice versa. The Big 10 gets no love because of past experiences...is it fair...NOPE but that is the reality.

Boise St gets alot of credit because they beat OU 1 TIME on a trick play and they beat a really not so good Georgia team this year. SO WHAT? I would love for Boise St to play three ranked teams especially back to back to back like OU, OSU, Texas or Alabama, Ark, LSU......They MAY win one. Kinda like when Hawaii played Georgia in the Sugar Bowl........Total Domination

It was 2 trick plays. The hook and lateral and the Statue of Liberty play for the conversion at the end. :(

But it wasn't for the championship so I never really gave a shit.

To me, if OU isn't in the big game, then the season is over. I don't now, nor ever did, care about a bowl game that isnt' for all the marbles.

Playoff FTMFW. Seriously, what kind of respectful championship system is it if you lose a game early in the season and you are out of contention for the national title. Flatout STUPID.
