If FBS instituted a playoff system, it would add a couple games to the length of the season for the teams in the playoff. This means more seats sold, more television time, and more money.

You really think a playoff system wouldn't have ridiculous amounts of sponsors?

FCS teams don't have make a bunch of money off their playoff system because no one cares about the small schools

A Play Off is coming with a plus 1.......The only issue I see with it is what if you only have 2 undefeated teams.........It is interesting that I did see bowl projections for this year on ESPN and they have either LSU/Bama playing Boise St in the Sugar Bowl.......OH I could see that if LSU plays Boise St...in New Orleans....kinda like Georgia-Hawaii a few years back.......I would like to see Alabama play Boise St though only not in that situation

Maybe with conference realignment Boise St will come to the Big 12, SEC, Pac 12, Big 10 etc.... Ever wonder why Chris Peterson doesn't leave Boise St.........

Nothing.

There was serious consideration by the UTSA athletics department to have orange turf in the Alamodome

Imagine how many people would be adjusting their nice new HDTV's whenever that was being broadcast

TCU could have Purple turf
and Baylor could have Greene turf

We got 21 points off a punt return, INT return and whatever that 4th down fake field goal play was.......but a consistent ability to drive the field has not been there so far. Everyone touted Ark as a great offensive team...sure when they play lesser schools...I think this week they play A&M....so we will see if they were a fluke this week or if they just had a bad game....If they struggle this week then it just shows they are not that strong.

No matter what teams plays on Jan 9th, they all will have a little luck along the way and the ball will bounce their way a few times during the year.

Hey, maybe we can watch the national championship together.....

State Fair - check (too many fun things to mention there)
New boots and jeans - check
Dinner at Cattleman's - check
Seeing friends & family - check
Chocolate Almond ice cream at Braum's - double check

We'll all have to GTG sometime when I'm there. Thinking of coming back the weekend of Oct 22nd, but I'll have my mom, so she's pretty much a full time commitment, but we'll see!
