even in the snow, the Z06 would beat that STI driver.

That would all depend if the subie was modded or not. Just a tune he should be in mid to lower 12's, and if he has had anything serious done like a turbo kit and stroker kit, he could be well into z06 range if not blowing it away. I would venture to say this guy missed a gear and just went with it or something broke!

You mean mid to low 13's

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

a guy on a bike could go fast than that STI did. It was the driver not the car.

Sorry
Oddly enough, when a car starts from a dead stop its not going to be moving very fast, at least right away. 12 seconds later, the Corvette was going over 120 mph.

Our dollar is more inflated than yours. Typically the exchange rate is 1.00 : 0.75, at the moment its 81 cents to the dollar so the cost of the Canadian Z06 in USD is 88 000. Still more, but only because our dollar is still a little high. It was really bad when we were getting $1.15 ... an American Z06 would cost us $64 000 vs the $109 000 for one in Canada.
