Loved both, saw the movie when I was little and the clown scared the $#!+ out of me. As far as TV movies went it was decent enough, I'm very surprised they let this on ABC in 1990. Read the book later on in life, can't wait for the movie remake next year supposedly.

The clown did freak me out when I was younger, but once I got over it I thought the movie was lame.
