Well during Ike it was so bad that we lost power ASAP. So we all slept in the living room (highest cielings) and listened to the radio and my sister was texting me weather map photos. But as soon as we got the generator up we were watching TV on the laptop.

I did, my niece's wedding was beautiful...and it was the perfect day and weather as she got married outside ....pics on fb...

we had power for alot of Ike, i was really surprised. we didn't lose it until about 4 hours in. Living 20 minutes from the coast, i was pretty impressed.
