That wasn't a Supra. It was a Mitsubishi if I remember correctly.

This is CNN were talking about, not much sound news reporting going on there too often. That said I don't the muscle car as we know it now with 400 plus horses and fuel economy mixed around 20 MPG are long for this world. We're probably in store with the second coming of Fox Body/3rd Gen type cars again.

I disagree with the idea we'll see our cars 'devolve'....but I don't think we'll see today's crazy hp numbers rise much for a long time...

...but what a shame to shut yourself out of a great bunch of cars and trucks over such a silly thing...

I already am looking, I'll probably buy an M3 this spring. I was going to get rid of my Camaro for one but it's Cheaper to just keep it and I bought a house instead.

And the Camaro is the only American Car that I like. I mean the Corvette is great but I wouldn't want one. The Mustang has looked pretty much the same for the last 20 years and the Challenger weighs more than most 4 person American families (I kid).

Unless they completely out law V8's and V6's I will not drive an underpowered economy car.

I don't think we'll ever have an under-performing Camaro. Not as long as they keep a team like the current one behind it.

I agree! I love my 350Z but I refuse to further support the economy of a bunch of people that think it's okay to buy used girls panties out of vending machines.

I care about CNNs opinion on cars about as much as I care about Motor Trends opinion on the conflict in Libya. But at least Motor Trend has the sense to not even bother predicting who the leader of Libya is 5 years from now, because they know that is way beyond their area of expertise. CNN on the other hand doesn't seem to understand that they know nothing about cars.
