It must be my creeping amnesia (or more likely, the overall creepiness of my existence), but I do NOT recall a previous thread knotted around watches, pocket or otherwise. If you really CAN remember one, do tell.

This is hilarious. I was just searching for a thread or section on watches. I love 'em, and would be interested to see what kinds us Camaro guys own.

Ditto here. Post 'em up please

I'll start. I'm pretty bad with my timepieces. They always take a beating. I can safely say that I've never owned a dress watch, save for a really nice 'Replica' Panerai I got as a gift, though I never got a chance to wear it. My favorite watches are Chase Durer, 5.11 Tactical, and my current wear, Suunto. Here's a pic I snapped of my EDC knife and my Suunto Core. If you look close, there's already a scratch on the face.

I have a couple invictas (s1 racer and sub aqua) just to name a few! Also have a chase durer firestorm. Had to stop it was becoming an expensive habit. I was buying a new one each month; But I think it's time for a new one! Maybe for Christmas!

Anyone here know how to decipher old silversmith markings. I have an old pocket watch that was made somewhere around the late 1700's. There are also several round repair slips stuck in the cover that date back through the 1800's. Would love to be able to figure out more about it, by the markings.

I have an Invicta Corduba, and almost bought another one the other day. It was just too tall. I love big watches, but this thing was pretty crazy.

I'm into the old Lassale watches that Seiko made based on Jean Lassale super thin Swiss movements. It's an interesting venture/story that failed. These were generally $600-800 in the '80's-90's and bring $80-$250 now. This is an example of a couple, but they made hundreds of styles
