Not yet, but just bought a kimber cdp 3" .45 and planning on taking my concealed course- my primary use will be to carry while bowhunting as i come across many nuts in the woods.. ( no pun intended). Planning to upgrade the sights, add a laser dot grip(for night use) and buy an extended mag well/ kimpro tac mags. Should be a very nice gun for concealed when finished, and i plan to keep this one for as long as it lasts.

Might want to check the particulars again in NC...........with-out a permit, you may carry it in the passenger area loaded, with-in reach and it must be in plain sight. With-out a concealed permit, if its with-in reach ( of Owner or Occupant/s of vehicle) and its hidden, its considered concealed, whether that be between the seat, in a console, in a door pocket or a unlocked glove box, its a violation of the law. You may legally conceal it ( Applies to Non Concealed Permit owners) in the passenger area, only, if the compartment is locked, and the key is not left in the lock. This applies to loaded as well unloaded firearms (Hand Gun, and Long Rifles). In addition (with or with-out the permit) if you're left handed you may holster your weapon (on your left side) while driving, so long the weapon is not covered by clothing. Loaded or unloaded. Ironically, Right Handed non permited carriers may not.
