It's that time of the week again when we let our hair down (some of us have more of it to let down than others, and here I mean it figuratively as well as cosmetically).

So, boys and girls, is we happy, yet? Oh, in the by and by, have any of ya' tried a brew tasting of nutmeg spice from Belgium that has the catchy name of Hoegaarden?

It sounds like just the place to ditch an unruly mother-in-law who has a few too many sheets to the wind. Hell, what am I sayin'? She's got too much everything in the wind: ugliness, body fur, foul odors, nasty teeth, vicious personality, greedy meat hooks, unkind words for everyone, poisoned food for me, execrable rumors to spread about her sons-in-law, an unrelenting evil eye and the list goes on...

Yes, I am so happy that it is finally Friday!!!! This week seemed to have dragged on more than it should have.

No beer for me though, as I was never able to acquire the taste of it.

yes, i'm happy that it's Friday! I got a call this morning from GM saying that my car should be at the dealership in 3 days and i'm going to a car show tomorrow, so that should be fun.

"Kestral", eh? That sounds in the back of my mind, like some German raptor. The word for eagle is "adler", I'm pretty sure. The kestral makes me think of a fishing bird, you know the ones that extend their talons with their legs forward just as they pass over their victim in the water; they grasp the fish longitudinally, but then must re-arrange their grip 90° so the axis of the fish and that of their flight are aligned otherwise the weight and cumbersome dimensions of their prey would prevent their aviation.

With a name like that, the brew is a lager, nein? Another question: Auf dem Vaterland, der bier ist kalt auf Biergarten? You seem so conversant with the subject of German beer, I assumed you lived there for a while, eh?
