I remember when they revamped the body style and went more traditional I about SH** and thought wow they did it right and now the front and tail end just don't seem to fit the look.

Yeah I think it may take few tweaks from the aftermarket to sort things out. Which is what I thought of my 2006 GT when I bought it. A few minor changes and it should look pretty sweet. I know most vendors like Roush, Steeda, Saleen, etc. already have body kits either ready or on the go for the 2010 Mustangs.

Never been much of a Ford guy, but really like the traditional styling and wanted to get some prospective for Ford people. I also never cared for the Camaro styling after about 73 Gen 2
and am very pleased with the Gen 5.

The Roush spoiler makes it look a lot better. After looking at it seems to be the outside head light (seem to be pinch down and lost in the fender) and brake light's that are not symmetrical.
Like the Roush look.

Going by pictures only, I like the look of my '05 Mustang better than the 2010. The problem is the '05 to '09 Mustang design was pretty much a home run. The car was an instant hit, selling 192,000 of them for the 2005 model year. But no matter how good the design, carmakers can only stick with it for five years or so, or it becomes stale.

Thanks for the feed back. I must agree it's always going to be hard to keep thing fresh and new when they get it right the first time. I hope that the new Camaro will keep going strong. Just counting down the weeks.

Popular Mechanics ran 13.9@102 in the 2010 Mustang.
Camaro's are going to crush these cars. I can't wait until people start posting youtube videos of Mustangs getting waxed. |

Yeah I think that anyone that goes and finds the worst numbers on a car then post them as the best it can do are a little slow... The same has been done with both the Camaro and the Mustang here. There is going to be better numbers then the ones posted up from both sides. We are all just going to have to wait till they are at the same tracks, at the same time for a real comparison of all the varibles then we can decide.
