well, when I called the guy he told me it was a 76 442. and he wanted 1700 for it, he sent pics, body was in good shape, no pics of the motor or interior (whatever.... its gota 442 in it damnit). I asked him how much, he said $500.00, I told him id come check it out....

rusted to pieces, motor ran fine, trans was on its way out the door, I told him I'd give him $250.00 for it....

WAY off topic...but you're Spike, so you can do that! Glad you got the Camaro...I'm sure it was a lot smaller, more HP, and obviously looked better.

actually, it was about the same amount of HP. it had a 292 straight-6. never dyno'd it. meant to, but never got around to it. blew the auto trans 3 days after buying it, then spent 6 months putting a 3spd manual out of my grandfather's truck into it.


WOT reverse + slamming into drive = BOOM! lol

Wow! That's a lot of work! I would never do all that for a car. I guess that's why you know everything. You and Silver Streak need to hook up. He has some wild stories about his cars too.
