you can drive without physically having your license. as long as you can provide proof that you are licensed legally to drive.

I've been pulled without my license before, only once did I have to actually go to court to show that I had a license in the first place. the other times, the cop checked my record.... then again, I did have my license number memorized

kinda. it was a "prove why its a good reason to keep you here with us" type of thing.

basically just doing my job, but had to present an ass-load of stuff that I wasnt totally prepared for. I had forgotten that I even had the meeting till about this time yesterday. ended up staying late last night and was in here early as hell going over my notes.

I have a bad way of not saying things in a politically correct fashion. its who I am. I dont beat around the bush. if your shit is broke, I'm going to let you know, even if you dont think its worth it to fix because you cant see the bigger picture.

I'm a service engineer in a product health group. its my job to find problems with our products and fix them and fix them fast.

the issue is that we've been fixing things for a while, and I'm not the only guy working on these projects... so technically, I'm working my way out of a job....lol

I have the same bad habit. I run ecommerce operations and a lot of our "salespeople" are just hired right off the street. I don't have a whole lot of patience for lack of common sense, laziness or questions about things I've already answered in memos, so I go off on people sometimes.

the people I work with have the common sense, I just live in a fairy tale world where we fix every issue that arises rather than not worry about it because we haven't spent much on it in warranty costs....

that and I havent been here as long as the others and I hardly received any training to do my job. it was "here's your computer and desk, let me know when you've closed some projects"

but that was mostly because the guy that I replaced (who got promoted, which was why I got the job), was on nights and he and I never got time to work together.
