I think it looks pretty good all around, it doesn't appeal that much to me though.

Have you seen one in person? Not saying your opinion is wrong, I just thought the same thing til I saw this one. It was black.

It looks like it has a great warranty but they WILL NOT give you a free loaner when it needs service/parts and it WILL need service. LOTS of it. Parts were not stocked at that time so you have to WAIT for them to come in. Maybe things are different now but why bother?

Stay away!

You can't possibly know that. It's a brand new design. But, if you have had bad experiences with KIA then that sucks.

I've driven a coupe of Kia models as rental cars. Most recently a Kia Soul. It was not bad at all, everyone was shocked because I said I would buy one if I needed a smaller, "get around" car.

Kia's have come a long way from a few years ago. The dealer here offers a 20 year 200,000 powertrain with them.

Which is part of why I ended up with the camaro. My previous car was a 07 SRT-8 300c. While it was a nice car, it was still a Chrysler. For some reason I just didnt like that car due to, the ora of it being a brother car, and it was in the end still a Chrysler. I knew in due time I would buy another car, and decide on the camaro over a Z06... But a KIA or Hyundai would have never been bought by me.
Nothing wrong with that.

I love the new optima, especially in SX turbo trim! They did an amazing job inside and out, the only thing I don't like is the red displays on the interior.

Kia's come a long way imo. I was in the market for a smaller dd in July and ended up with a Forte Koup. It's a solid car, although I would much rather have a Cruze.

Since this didn't turn out to be a terrorist death video thread, let me say KIA has nothing that GM doesn't have only better.

GM doesn't have an Optima.

My point being.... I gotta be honest. If Ford made the Camaro, I'd still have a Camaro.

My only point is that KIA has come a long way. I always used to laugh at the KIA and their cutsy little Bill Clinton commercials.

Over advertised piece of crap is how I saw them. Well, they've done well.

I wouldn't own one. But I'm just giving props.

If I had to buy a Toyota or a KIA, I'd buy the KIA.

That's kinda what got my attention. It was a KIA and this one was not boring.

Sure they do. They just call it Malibu, and it's better.

No. They have a Malibu. And it just may be better. But that's a matter of opinion. I share that opinion. But the point is that 10 years ago it wouldn't even be in the same BOOK as a GM middle class car. Much less the same page, paragraph, sentence. Well it is now. By you saying 'Yes they do. It's called a Malibu' gives the KIA credit.

I don't know, I clicked where it says, "warranty for 20 years or 200,000 miles" and it took me to the kia site's warranty info, but there's nothing about a warranty like that there. I'm interested. If they really warranty that long and it's a realistic warranty, that's one hell of an incentive.
