Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

I love the comment where they cover recalls by saying "Come in for free 'servicing'" then repair the problem and send you on your merry way without realizing that there was a serious issue.
Then there's the imprisoned execs in Japan for fraud. But Toyota is gods car! They cannot be wrong! Those kids must have repaired the part themselves! Everyone did! Toyota is never at fault! Bawwwwww~ -Sen. Bubba Asskisser, US Congressional Hearing, July 2009. |

Do we need anymore proof about this company? Didn't toyota also end up buying back a bunch of tacomas because of frames that rusted through, thus causing possibility of a crash? That was kept quiet in the mainstream media as well. The truth about that FARCE known as "prius" should be broadcast as well. F**K toyota. Might as well be December 7, 1941 all over again. As far as I am concerned toyota and the rest of japan can rot in hell.

Yeah, and it's a pity that there's a bunch of them in government positions nowadays. But I digress. This is just disgustingly..god I can't think of anything else. When you're on top, apparently you're also above the law.

I especially love the comments on Autoblog that blame his death on intoxication and not wearing a seatbelt. The intoxication wasnt to a degree of proper inhibition of the drivers abilities. the intoxication charge was called on a technicality of it being a teen, where any alcohol is considered illegal, even if it is well below the limits of being driver imparing side effects at .03%. so if it wasnt for his age he wouldnt have been called drunk. if he was wearing a seatbelt then yes he may have survived the accident. but if it wasnt for the vehicle safety issue there would have been no accident. my sympathy goes out to the Stewarts, and i hope they bring ramifacations for what happened to the highest degree. i hope they dont settle for just money and take it to higher courts to enact stricter and more public recall laws for all manufactures dealing in the states.

Oracle, sadly Toyota will probably force them out of court or use an army of lawyers to make them look like the criminals. You don't mess with big business. Ever.
This will just be a small drop in the bucket while they strong arm GM and Chrysler out of business. Then go Daimler on Ford's butt. Ugh. Makes me sick too. |

I cant believe all the stupid commemnts just defending toyota
"This family now has something to excuse their child's irresponsible and reckless behaviour, and will cry victimization by a corporate machine. In America, we blame others for our own stupidity, because lawyers and judges are just too stupid to know better." The guy makes an excuse for the company and insults the grieving family at the same time as following it with a sentence that make him a complete hypocrite lol. |
