I went to Subway for lunch and they had a sign on their door saying cash only. WTH?! Who carries cash? So I decided to give Quiznos another try.

Its safer to carry a card than cash. And more convenient. Plus I hate change.

It's not necessarily safer to carry a card over cash because it can be stolen just as easy. Most places run them through as a CC and don't bother checking ID so someone could conceivably spend much more of your money by stealing your card than your carry around cash.

It's much more convenient though to use your card. I know I do about 90% of the time.

i use my card a lot as well. and would know that it was missing/stolen pretty quick. so i just call B of A and tell them to cancel the card. if any money is missing, they give a full refund pretty quickly. Can't get a refund of your cash.

My ATM card was stolen two weeks ago and they withdrew $406.00 from my checking. Luckily Chase was all over it and they reimbursed me the full amount later that week.
