CAFE figures are an average. It also depends on how many vehicles you sell over the course of a year. If GM sells one Volt and one ZR1, then they meet CAFE regulations.

Plus, 62 MPG isn't finalized yet, and with the uproar its caused among the manufacturers, it probably won't be for a while.

and even if it is at 62mpg that isnt going to stop gas prices from not rising.........its just like with more effiecent electricity that they pushed but what did electric companies do? raised rates of course its not diff

I thought the Air Force and civilian contractors refill your coffee at your desk...
