I have not tried it ... but I have convinced others that the theory is sound enough for them to test it.

You make Fen sad. :(
By the way... $4.15/gallon = BULLSH*T. I can get diesel at the same price and get a whole lot more for my money.

I should probably clarify ... at the time, the two people I asked were not of the clearest of mind. It didn't work, but thats only because they sorta crumpled when they tried a drunken cartwheel. I'm sure that if a sober bunny tried it, it would work perfectly.

Exactly. The minute GM brings out the 4.5L in a Sierra, or hell, bring the new Colorado in with a diesel, I'll be first in line.

I would love to see that instead of a turbo-DI-V6, and I bet a lot of truck owners would prefer it as well.

So I finally drove my T/A for the first time in a month. Granted the only repairs so far are a pair of new tierods to get it to steer.
Barely. Needless to say I'm looking at a new hub for sure up front (saw that one coming a mile away..) and something to remedy a cyclic 'bedspring squeak' off my rear end. Biggest part did come in today: ![]() ![]() YES, THAT IS 2/3rds OF A FIREBIRD! ![]() Thank god I don't need floors because the floors on the donor are pitted at least and eaten half through at best. |
