EGR cleaning
Any you guys had any luck cleaning a EGR valve?
2004 Galant with Service Engine Soon light, showing a code for EGR valve. I'm guessing some carb. cleaner ?  Thanks, |

btw, your sensor may be broken not your valve. My truck had a broken EGR valve position sensor. They replaced the valve itself only to find out that my check engine light came on again a month later due to the faulty sensor. So see if you can have the mechanic test the sensor before actually replacing the valve.
