According to recent trends in military conflicts.. almost never. I'd have more fun as an A-10 pilot blowing s**t up on the ground. :/

Last year I was like that I knew I was going to have fun but was sorta excited. Once I got there... Omg. Its just so much to take in and so much to do and so many people to meet (and so much to buy )! I was literally very sad when everyone started leaving.

lol you have a point, bombers see more combat action than fighter pilots do now and days, fighters train night and day for the day that an air to air battle does take place

The f-15 can hang if it's strickly guns and no missles. The longest a squadron of F-15's has lasted against 1 f-22 was a whole 8 seconds.

Yeah, true.

However when was the last time they ran up against a good pilot in a Russian/French fighter?

'90-'91?

Maaaybe '99ish over Kosovo with a couple Fulcrums?

I heard about that. Kinda why after they canned the '22 it wasn't a bad thing because if we've got 100 some odd flyable airframes that's more than enough.

Just use the '35s for all the busy work.

I won't be buying anything other than beer in the evenings and I won't be sad when it's time to go. I'll probably be more than ready to head home.

I don't drink and drive. That's why I'm waiting until the evening to enjoy a few beers in the parking lot.
