well, guess you'll have to finally move to SC. the spare bedroom is waiting...

on a more serious note....

I just got back from my neighbors house. 87 year old man collapsed on the floor and his wife rung my door bell right after my last post. he was helping carry groceries in the house and collapsed unconscious.

she came over and rang the doorbell. thank god I was home right now or who knows what might have happened to him. cus I know none of my neighbors for 3 or 4 houses in either direction are home right now.

its been a while since I've been a first responder. he's doing ok now, just left for the hospital and I just got back into the house. holy crap is my heart racing right now.
Purple Ice, ill remember that!

Good thing you were home! I bet it was a rush. But you did a good thing! Spikey the hero!

I'm just now coming from the adrenaline rush. I had 911 dialed before I had even walked out the door. I'm glad that my pre-employment package hasn't arrived yet or I'd be at work right now and wouldnt have been there to help. and who knows what might have happened.

yeah no humidity here. when it does reach 114 sometimes i describe the heat as being like an oven. and it really is. open and oven and that's what it feels like. but i'm use to it. i wouldn't want to live in a cold cloudy place. i only wish there were more fall and more spring. it's like a 7-8 month summer
