Unless it's from your camera, I would say it's probably from a camera with a low resolution (or poor picture quality) that is causing colors to be over-simplified, so that the full, true colors of the car are not showing up.

Is this a pic that you took?

I'll be honest. My monitor isn't really showing the problem too much, but I understand what your saying. And believe it or not, that is probably just the way they wanted it painted. Some people a satisfied with a sh!tty paintjob.

How sad. If a car is going to get painted, it needs to be done right or not done at all. I've seen some aweful paint jobs before, but they've all been on inexpensive cars; nothing like a Corvette.
