Its management who decides how much to spend on quality control. It has nothing to do with individual workers.

Yeah... I'm embarrassed for GM since the Corvette falls apart. Also, I'm a bit surprised because I really think GM's quality has gone up significantly in the the last 10 years and even more than that over the past 2 years.

That said, the guy does recommend you buy the Vette over the Audi

The last few "lightning laps" by CD, the R8 couldn't even beat the Grand Sport let alone the ZR1. Looks like a big goon that can't drive (-: LOL. He didn't look very comfortable in the car. Top Gears should be viewed for their antics more than their expert opinion....

See people missed that this was exactly his point, obviously this was a little too much car for him, but in the end his entire speech comparing the two came down to one simple fact; even though the audi was more "put together" he'd prefer the corvette.

In the end, "youd have to be bonkers to buy this car- and thats why you should."

Look who is giving the review, those familiar with that clown will tell you he

hates any and all things about America. Listen to his smart alec comments and snide remarks in his other reviews on American products. And even in this review he makes a snide comments about America finishing a war. That seatbelt strap probably wasnt even broken but was unsnapped just like the ones on the camaro but he shows it to give the impression its broken and coming apart. He says the car didnt start on the 3rd day but doesnt say why, was it out of gas? Watch hs other reviews and you will see he is an America hater. Look at his review on the Camaro, he bad mouths it and degrades it, yet he compares it to a 120k mercedes.

Notice how he bad mouths the vette in handling, he praises the Audi handling but never mentions the Audi is all wheel drive.
