I caught the load screen at PAX and it appears you can do more than one Character per server.

Bioware has already stated that they are listening to what fans and testers have to say, and have already made a number of changes based on their feedback. I'm sure the testers would have a fit if they could only have one character per server Though I wonder if they'll do like WoW used to do and only allow you to have characters with a single faction per server?

I'm reallying hoping to get in on the beta or that they have an open beta period before the launch. I want to try it out before fully investing in it. Being that its Star Wars, I really hope it does well. I'm not partial to the fact that its set thousands of years prior to the story arc that we've all come to love. Thats part of why I played SWG for so long, visiting the locations you see all the time in the movies, interacting with the leading characters, flying X-Wings, Swoops, riding banthas. It was all great and made up for a lack of end game content besides PvP for most of the games life.

When playing the game you dont even really care about the fact its set 3000 years ago. When it comes down to it its still Alliance vs Empire. I was at first worried about the same thing, but after demoing it this past weekend and seeing all of the videos, the game truely is amazing.

Also they have been runing their beta tests differently. They invite you to play for like a weekend and only give you access to certain classes or zones. Its more of a Focus group. My guess though is once they get through the Focus groups they will begin letting more people into a traditional Beta. Probably when they need to start testing the Server capacities.

I got a couple members in the one I had created already. And its open to anyone here. Link is in the sig. And the link to the SWTOR Guild HQ is in the header of the Forums.

Went with PvE East, but will probably doing PvP as well myself. I'll join your guild for my Sith character Do you have the guild created on the official SWTOR guild page? I looked up Sith Happens and there were quite a few options there, wasn't sure which one was yours...

Yes the guild is created. I dont have the link the second. But if you go on to the Forums page on our site. There is an Announcement in Red Text with a link. Click on the link that is in that announcement to join the SWTOR guild HQ.

Emails went out to the European folks to notify them of an upcomming Beta testing. Hopefully we get more information at E3.

Correct. I am hoping for at least a beta announcement though. And I am with you on the BF3. The game looks intense. They had it at PAX but would only let Battlefield club members see the demo. So I didnt get to check it out.

On the other hand I got to play a 45 minute demo of SWTOR, so it wasnt a total loss.
