I'm not closing the thread. and Kevin turn on your sarcasm sensor will ya?

My original post was to highlight the fact that we just go over all the Camaro vs. _________ threads. And now I've got to read a mustang vs challenger thread??!!

I'm sorry, my only thought was WTF.

So anyway I would say Bullitt>R/T based on the weight adv, but if i had to own one it would be a tough choice. Challenger styling>Stang



Just get the Camaro and you dont have to worry about who comes in 5th and 6th place..

ill be making my decision after gm and chrysler go to congress. seems like cerberus doesnt give a rats about what happens to such a historic brand.

Yeah, you're thinking of the SRT-8, the R/T's a bit lighter.

The '08 Bullitt has a curb weight of 3590, the R/T weighs in at 4040.

So about 450 pounds lighter, but the R/T makes up for the weight difference with more horsepower and better access to it at higher speeds/RPMs. Car and Driver found them to be about the same.

real world numbers are RT 0-60 in 13.1-13.3 timeslips are up on the challenger forum...bone stock...RT engine is underrated...it is more like 390 hp 410 tq
