It's the classic scam. Ebay, Autotrader, Craigslist.... they are full of scams like that. They say anything to make it sound like a perfect deal. At the last minute they will want to transact some money via Western Union, and then they dissapear.

You don't even want to send them emails, because they will hack/steal your email, Ebay account... They are probably communicating with you through a stolen email. Probably haven't talked by phone either?

Tell them you have someone local to the car and dealer today, and would like to see the car and talk to the dealer today. Any excuses, send all the info to the FBI. They have an internet crimes dept.

That looks like the real seller on Ebay. I think your new friend just stole the pictures from this ad.

RUN AWAY! No good will come of this. Its not real. I know tri-five chevy's. Had one before I got the Camaro. That price is so low its not even insane.
Your looking at a minimum $45K car. even a scorned wife wants to make somthing.
dealer deal or not, theres a catch.
let it go.

Coming from a tri-five guy this one sounds strange to me. However if you do want to find out more, take a couple friends with you. I have heard of things like this where they pull you in knowing you brought 3K in cash and then they jump you and take your money.

And don't feel to comfortable because they want to do the deal through the dealership. I had a friend who had a customized S-15 that was stolen, guess where they found it? Yep at a dealership, they were stripping cars and selling the parts out from the bodyshop.

Yeah its a scam. I asked him about the sites with the price on it and everytime I do he lowes the prices on the sites then raises them back up a few hours later. He still hasnt responded about me coming to look at it and giving me the VIN

The FBI has a dept/link to send internet fraud info to. I'd send them everything you have on this crook.
