That was good.
I actually was driving one day when I noticed a large bird (no idea what it was) hopping around in the grass by the road (maybe 10 feet off the road). As I got closer I noticed 4 or 5 baby bunnies hopping around trying to get away. I stopped the car, beeped the horn and drove toward the bird in hopes to scare it away from the poor babies. (Yeah, I'm an animal lover.) But just as I was about to get out of the car it managed to snag one and fly away. I felt pretty bad... (Yeah, I understand these things happen, but I wasn't going to sit there and WATCH this bird murder a baby bunny. Or drive off knowing it was happening.) |
