My first car was a 1976 Gremlin X. It wasn't bad ass, and it WAS ugly, but it isn't the winner. I have 2 nominees. One is an AMC Pacer as was earlier nominated, but it's the wagon and with the wood paneling with a yellow paint job! Heinous!

The second is the 1970 Zaporozhets from Ukraine! Every time I see one on the road (usually broke down) it just turns my stomach. Even Ukrainians make fun of them!

I'm gonna have to go with the Datsun F-10. Had a friend that had one of these things. Was fun the toss around though. He did things in that thing I would have never thought possible!

Regardless of what may or may not have been under the hood.. I'd vote for AMC Gremlin or Pacer, but The Cube is pretty fugly too.

It’s starting to look like there are so many ugly cars out there and so little time to cover them all. Looks like a dwarfed muscle car. The Smart Car by itself is OK looking and passes overall. The mustang is just a nice-looking car in general. So why ruin both of them at once? Do you have nothing better to do, whoever did this?

At least we all know now what it looks like when you superimpose one of the cars onto the other – Mustang and Smart. But did anyone ask for that? Was anyone actually curious? No! In fact, the result looks like a cheapo home-project. Even reminiscent of communist little cars. Especially the back – where that little ledge just doesn’t make any sense. The true inspiration must be the communist FIat.
