There is. V6 RS is 155, and I believe the SS is the same because it has the same tires. V6 non-RS is 115 I think.

Oi.

Ok, first of all, you guys are all treasured friends so I don't say this lightly or mean any personal inference from it. I would instead like you all to consider this tough love, so please forgive a semi-harsh tone.

But I have little to no sympathy, guys. YOU are in control of your actions. YOU decide whether or not to go fast; your car doesn't just "make it happen". It really worries me that a lot of the attitude in this thread is "whoops I just looked down and my car was rocketing me along at 120 mph". Yes, if the speed of traffic is going that quickly it can happen-- it's happened to me-- but acting like you're a victim because you can't control your right foot is the wrong attitude to take, period.

You might claim it's like an addiction or whatever, fine, I can understand, I have a healthy dose of adrenaline addiction myself. But YOU have to make the choice to stop this reckless behavior before something worse than an expensive ticket happens; not the people on this forum. You have to stop playing the victim of your engine and make the decision to be mature about your driving. Saying "I can't help it/ myself" is not good enough. You won't change by apologizing for it and acting like it's out of your control. DO something about it.

Forget limiters, cruise control, insurance rates and self-help groups. Those are things that give you the excuse of not taking responsibility for your actions by taking the decision away from you. But you'll never really learn your lesson until it's either too late or you decide to take responsibility for the things your own body is doing.

For the record, I'm 24, have never been the fault of an accident, have one speeding ticket four years ago and a supercharged truck now. It can be done... but stop thinking it's out of your control and do it.

LOL, don't think a 4cylinder will save you. The factory tells me my Cobalt will do 160 mph (250km/h?). I have gotten in the habit of using the cruise control often and early to avoid speed creep.

I recommend you get yourself a Smart 4two or a Citroen 2CV. Then my friend- you shall never be troubled again . A Prius may help, but seriously I hate them and can hardly type the word. I love cars in general too, it may be the only car I've ever had the kind of reaction to.

Any ideas??? And dont say sell the car cos it aint happening.

I guess "I" have to change the way I think about things but I was born for fast speeds it feels like. This is the second ticket this month!

Well thats my story for today. DANG!!!!
Wow! Speeding in a Station Wagon. That is AWESOME!! Chevy Chase would be proud.

True. If you are driving your girlfriends nuts, then it should get plenty of attention.
Oh...BTW... if your girlfriend has nuts....that would be your boyfriend. Okies crack me up.

Relax dude you need a chill pill!!!

Nobody here tried to claim they were a victim. I agree, when I speed I have NOBODY to blame but myself. PERIOD!

Trying to get help for this is not a sign of weakness that I or anyone else is playing the victim card, its signs that I NEED TO CHANGE and make some changes in my life like changing my driving habbits, which I will admit belong on a race course somedays. PERIOD. That to me shows strength.

Im glad that you have only had one ticket for speeding and your 24 and never been in an accident thats your fault. Im 42, been driving for as long as you have been alive and have not been in an accident that's my fault. So its swings and round abouts. I am a skilled driver but I have to change the aggressiveness of my driving. I know I am wrong to speed and I HAVE taken steps already to change that.

RESPECT!

Huh? What pics LOL!! You mean my facebook pics?
I have to be honest with you I have never looked my age.
Yes, if your talking about the facebook pic 99% of them are less than 5 months old?

And thanks for the compliment!

Respect back, like I said, tough love. I wasn't calling you weak. I was saying that you (and I use the broad "you" as in everyone in this thread that has the same attitude) need to take responsibility for your actions. I still stand by everything I said up there.

Oh, and it's "dudette".
