Yes it IS fun. Since my father moved to Arizona, every time I go out to visit, I get to venture roads and vistas I have never experienced before. One of these days I'm going to take a road-trip from Maryland to Arizona. But I'm not going to rush the trip. I plan on staying off of the interstate as much as possible. I want to see the country, not mile-marker signs.

I lived in Texas, (Farmers Branch, a northern suburb of Dallas) from '75 to '79. My folks took us on road-trips regularly. In '75, we drove to Huston. '76, drove to Connecticut. '77, drove to Las Vegas. As much as I hated being stuck in the car with my family for hours at a time, I only have great memories from those trip. For the most part that is. (My older sister had a real problem with Stink-foot).

Nope, stumbled my ass in the front door. No sense in trying to hide the obvious. Saves wondering if anyone heard all the crashing, banging and "oh crap!, who put that wall there?!"
