09 challenger R/T?

ok I was minding my own busy cruising I-10 in my 01 camaroSS with SLP option,i bought thecar new. and a new challenger came by and smiled and then thumbed his nose, so i got off atthe same exit as him just to do a drive buy where he stoped, we came up to a lite, on the frontage road, he looked i looked and it was on! It said R/T in big stupid letters on the fender so this was no SRT.so easy kill right? No! maybe he out drove me but at 100 he was still gaining so i said the hell with it and went to lonestar chevrolet talked to salesman about new SS.

I'llbe looking for this guy!!

So you beat him but not by much? Remember that the RT has a 5.7 Hemi with 370 horsepower and 398 pound-feet torque.

He must have lost, I guess what he meant was the RT was ahead and still puling away once they reached 100.. There is no shame, the RT has a more powerful engine than your Camaro SS..

is your '01 SS an A4 car? if so, you were going to lose from the get go... if not, then you just got out driven

should have been a pretty even race. the camaro is way lighter, but has a little less hp.

Keep racing on the track where it belongs. It is idiots like you that get people killed. You certainly don't need to get a car with more HP than you have now.
I lose more Marines in stupid traffic acidents every year than I do in combat. That is why this hits home. Not trying to be a dick.

Sounds like he won the race but not the way he wanted to. Kinda like when your football team is favored by 31 and they win it on a last second play. Or like Ogre in 'Revenge of the Nerds' when the dorky fat girl almost beat him. He raises his hands and cheers then imediately sits down and cries.

I'll be lookin for a Challenger after I get my SS with a few Mods.

I'll be on the hunt as well. I've been noticing more Chargers and Mustangs recently. They'll make good prey as well.

Sounds more like he was getting beat, then backed out by pulling into the dealer. Keep racing one tracks were it should be. Too many lives get taken from pointless street racing, like this.

+1. I say be a dick, it's the only way to get thru some people. Being an ass to make a point is a small price to pay considering "one" can total their car and kill themselves or others.
