Who's on here been on a cruise?
Alright everybody, who's here been on a cruise to the Bahamas? I'm going on one this month around thanksgiving? How are they? We they worth the money? The only reason I'm going is cuz my parents paid my way? I begged the for me not to go. I could careless to go actually. What everybody opinion on cruises?

I took a 7 day Eastern Caribbean - sun, beautiful places, fun things to do like snorkelling, zip lines, topless beaches, etc... what's not to love.
It's a great chance to disconnect completely - no cell service, no internet, just relax...

You will have fun.
Pack a bottle in your bag, gets expensive on board! Starve before you go, it's all about the food! Not sure which Line, but bring a jacket and tie for Captains dinner, don't want to miss that..........mmmmmmmmm, lobster.

The cruise part is great. Getting off the boat is the part I do not like lots of solicitation. Every two seconds someone is trying to sell you a coco drink or braid your hair. That type of stuff may not bother you but it bothers me.

Been many times, drinking gets EXPENSIVE if you plan on it. Me and my cousin this past July spent about $800 each on booze...

Went on my first cruise in May to Alaska. It was AMAZING. Loved the actual cruise part - being on the ship. There is so much to do onboard. I would definitely go if I were you!!

I think you will like it. You can do as much (excursions) or as little as you want. They are like a floating city (restaurants, casinos, bars, theaters, game rooms, pools, spas) with pretty much everything.
All you can eat food 24/7. Most is free, some charge. If you drink, sneak some in your luggage as those cute umbrella drinks are expensive. Royal Caribbean even automatically adds a 15% tip so make sure you read what you sign. Most have a formal dinner so take a suit jacket and pants. How long is your cruise, 3,4,6 or 7 days?? Where are your ports of call? Enjoy it, especially since it's free...

Mine is 7days, I already know about having a captains party, don't wanna go to that as it involves dressing up. My parents are going that's one reason I not looking forward to going port of call is Baltimore. I'm going to freeport and Nassau and cape canaveral

My ex-husband maxed out my credit card from drinking....
 It'll be fun tho - go into looking to have a good time - not looking to be miserable or you WILL be miserable... Never know who you'll meet on board
