Fedex just shipped it where they were told. Until they hear from the vendor, they can do nothing. It's NOT Fedex's fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the item is shipped" not requiring a signature" by the sender, guess what???? It won't get one.

if a signature was NOT required.....then leaving it on the porch is perfectly acceptable.

A second thought would be to call the local police there and have them confirm the address, have all your info and the vendor info if they want to double-check your story.

If they are cool they will do a door knock for you and enquire about the item for you. They will not seize the item or get it for you how ever. but they can verify the person has it, they will know the cops know, and will do the right things most likely.

had to do this once before when I bought a supercharger, guy took my cash then went MIA, had his local police verify the address as such and low and behold he found me parts n his trunk and shipped them.

I guess then I would blame the vendor for not requiring a signature and getting the address wrong. If you paid with a credit card you should call them and file a complaint.

Thinking about it.... I bet the sender just gave you the wrong tracking number. That would make a lot more sense.

Damn that sucks. Just remember though you cant get anything accomplished by being pissy at the vendor. That will only make them want to take longer on getting anything straightened out. Just speaking from previous experiences.

I do understand how pissed you are though
