I'm more seriously considering a good wheel, now. I'm really being conservative because I'd like a good one that goes with 360, too, but I'm not really finding a good one... I'll definately be looking forward to any FM games, and to get the wheel strickly for PS3 really doesn't make me feel good, but if the control is anything like Prologue, which I really hate, I might have to get a wheel just to be competitive.

I'd say the control will be nearly identical to prologue just more refined, considering prologue drove just like GT4 basically.

I would definitely get a wheel compatible with 360, since I'm willing to bet GT5 is gonna get delayed until next year sometime.

I have the Driving Force GT which is great for GT Prologue, but I have no idea if it's compatible with 360. If you've been using a controller since the start, the wheel, to me, takes a lot of getting used to.

gtplanet.com says Kazunori Yamauchi says GT5 is being stamped now, in an interview with Jalopnik at SEMA!!!

"While speaking with Jalopnik today at SEMA, Kazunori Yamauchi stopped short of providing a new release date, but was able to confirm the game discs are being stamped (produced) right now:

“The discs are being stamped as we speak.”

This means the gold master copy of the game has been delivered from Polyphony Digital, and should help calm any fears about it slipping into 2011. Thanks to Tomo for sending this in so quickly!"

We did talk about a number of different topics other than the release — and we'll have more coming shortly — but for the moment, we thought we'd at least bring you that response.

FYI for all the potential buyers, Amazon has a restock of the Collector's Edition. They ran out of pre-orders couple weeks ago, and now after the delay they magically have more to fill. Order up!
