Those heritage grilles are becoming less and less unique, and I've always liked the looks of the stock grille. I'd keep your stocker, but black out the grill area.

In fact, black out your tail panel as well--oldschool big block style. You have the power to back it up now.

I do agree with you about the Heritage being less unique. I was just trying to think of something fairly cheap to do cosmetic wise and I was offered a great deal on one.

I like the rear panel black out in that pic. I wonder how much it would be to have it painted rather than vinyls?

I can't imagine it being more than a buck fifty-200 bucks for the tail panel in paint. I think paint is the only way to go for that--the vinyl decals don't go all the way into the tail light areas.

Nothing to do with being insecure. Just trying to take a nice car (far from perfect stock wise) and make it better. GM did a great job but there were a few things they could have done differently and I changed those things on mine.

Those giant 30 pound water-collecting trashcan-looking factory mufflers don't exactly scream perfection.

One of the first things that went bye bye on mine. Not only are they ridiculously heavy but they're stupid looking too. I always say they look like spare gas tanks. I think the stock ride height is also too high and the factory bow-ties are far from desirable. The gold might look good on some colors (not sure what) but I thought it looked bad with the RJT.

Now that I think about it, I think exhaust has been my first mod on my last three F bodies

I know my front end feels too naked sometimes! I wanted the bow tie back on my grille but I didn't buy the other acessories to make it happen!
