Up a whole 8 HP from the last version....at that rate, 2 or 3 more years and they should be able to keep up with the Camaro.
They need to stop...that's just not as nice as some of the others. They are really trying too hard.

It won't stop either, because Ford will come out with a 2008.5 Bullitt Mustang.

At least that one will be factory produced without aftermarket help from Shelby, Saleen, Roush, whoever.

You know...as much as we ragged on the stang before...rthis is getting oppresive. IMO, we should be able to count on our fingers, how many diff versions of a given model year there is...I can't do that with the mustang...

oooohhhh, they put the ugly-ass fog lights in the middle of the grille, and then colored it funny!

put the thing to rest...it's like a last flare before the Camaro eats it, get out all the special editions you can, because once chevy enters the game, all bets are off....

yeah, its probably the only 'special' mustang i would buy.

The Specs

and a better version of that picture.

i really like this car, and the current body looks GREAT in that shade of dark green. In fact I am also doing a model kit of it, complete with the louvers over the rear side glass .

Wow, those engineers at ford outdid themselves on the Bullitt. Somehow they cranked the hp up to a whopping 312! Thats a whole 12 more than a regular GT stang. This proves that if a car looks fast, it is fast, no matter what physics say!

I admit the car looks cool, but I would never pay that much to get a few cosmetic mods

I like it better in yellow myself.

Aside from the ugly black rear panel, I think it's a halfway decent looking Mustang.

Talking

this car *points to his previous post * is the MAIN reason why you cannot get the 2005-2008 mustang in dark green. the only green is that color that my cousin refers to as 'booger green' . you cannot tell by the pictures but this car is a lot like the mid 80s to early 90s LX 5.0 mustangs. which were the base cars but with the GT's V8, tranny, and rear end, and brakes. this car does not have the GT's rear wing, grille with fog lamps or a fake hood scoop. I cannot wait to see better pics of it from different angles.
