Top Gun is a fighter weapons school division where they teach air-t0-air combat tactics to NAVY fighter Pilots, attack pilots and supply pilots. They fly simulated MIGS and use adversary tactics against front-line pilots. The US Navy does NOT fly the F-22 Raptor NOR the F-15 Eagle!These are strictly Air Force aircraft. The F-16 is used as an adversary aircraft for the "opp forces"....
I have heard about this movie, but that was a LONG time ago. Supposedly, Cruise is now an Instructor taking on a brash, cocky young fighter jock (shades of Rocky 5)..IF done well, could be an interesting movie. BUT as any fighter jock will tell ya, the original was a joke as far as realism is concerned. for example, ANY "flybys" automatically result in a loss of wings and a dishonorable discharge in the real Navy.... |

They could transfer "Maverick" to Nellis and have him as an "Agressor" pilot against everyone at "Red Flag".

Will a camaro be in the movie? lol maybe then will i bother to see it.
Its kind of like Grease 2... ive never seen it. The charachters were different in the second movie and I just didnt want to watch it in the case of it ruining the Original Grease. i hope Top Gun 2 doesnt do the same. Sequals, not all (e.g. Bad Boys I & II), tend to be dissapointing. Especailly with a 25 year gap...
