Thanks for the advice. Lucky for me, the ex doesn't touch a computer. She has her phone and just goes to facebook 24/7. She has no clue about this website. lol

Everything has a way of working out. It may take a while but as long as you keep your head up and stay focused and positive then you should be fine.

I have a 12 year old son who lived in Ohio with his mom until last week. He decided that he wanted to move out to California to live with me. I was shocked but extremely happy at the same time. For the last 4 years I was only able to see hm during his summer break and that was tough, but I had to move here for a better job in order to provide a better life for him.

Look at it this way. You're single, 29 (same age as me), you have a Camaro, and a daughter who loves you. In time, if you want, you'll find love again. My suggestion as a child of divorce is to stay out of your ex's personal life as much as possible. Try your best to keep things civil. Your daughter is the #1 priority. I wouldn't feel self-conscious about your eye either. My cousin was born blind in her right eye and I didn't even know till she told me a few years ago. You have more great times ahead of you everything will turn around eventually.

Same thing happened to me at your age, won't bore anyone with old details but it's now 25 yrs later with my 2nd wife and two awesome grandson's. At times I think back and my divorce at 30 was the best thing that happened in my life. Hang in there bud.

I made a few mistakes and lost my best friend she was the only person I talked to and cared about my family. I thought bout her whenever I was with my ex. They didn't know eachother luckily because I treated her like she was my sister. I messed up and she became popular and that ended everything. Things always get better for someone who deserves it. You can do great things and you deserve your daughter. I really hope you get full custody of your daughter. stay strong. I know you won't care cause I am young but I am really sorry. You got a career, camaro and most importantly a daughter

I'm 25, have 2 boys, and recently divorced my highschool sweetheart....for the same reason as you. I know how you feel, but don't worry....life gets better. Everything happens for a reason.

Keep your head up. Tough times build character. You'll get through it and be braver, smarter, and wiser because of this.
